Thermoteknix NiCAM-16M is the latest high-performance night vision monocular, designed to be operated helmet-mounted, head-mounted or handheld . Utilising a 16mm image intensifier tube, the NiCAM-16M provides a clear and detailed view in the lowest of lighting conditions.

With a weight of less than 200g, the NiCAM-16M is one of the lightest night vision monoculars available. The NiCAM-16M operates using 1x AA battery for over 42 hours. An auto-shut off feature ensures the monocular will turn off when flipped up.

A 40-degree field of view provides a wide area of additional situational awareness to the user. The durable lens delivers sharp image clarity, with exceptional contrast and low-light performance. An infrared illuminator with adjustable focus ensures NiCAM-16M can detect objects in complete darkness. Automatic or manual gain control ensures optimum performance can be maintained throughout all missions.

Thermoteknix night vision monoculars are designed and manufactured to military specifications to withstand the harshest of conditions. The system is certified to be operated underwater at depths of up to 20 metres (66 feet).
