Thermoteknix NiCAM-16B is the latest high-performance binocular night vision goggle, designed to be operated helmet-mounted, head-mounted or handheld . Utilising dual 16mm image intensifier tubes, the NiCAM-16B provides a clear and detailed view in the lowest of lighting conditions.

With a weight of less than 390g, the NiCAM 16B is one of the lightest binocular night vision goggles available.

The NiCAM 16-B operates off 1x AA battery for over 24 hours, or with an optional external battery pack mounted on the rear of the helmet can be operated in excess of 64 hours. An auto-shut off feature ensures each monocular will turn off independently when flipped up, while both will turn off together if flipped up at the same time.

A 40-degree field of view provides a wide area of additional situational awareness to the user. The durable lenses deliver sharp image clarity, with exceptional contrast and low-light performance. An infrared illuminator with adjustable focus ensures NiCAM-16B can detect objects in complete darkness, making it an ideal tool for all environments. Automatic or manual gain control ensures optimum performance can be maintained throughout all missions.

Thermoteknix night vision goggle are designed and manufactured to military specifications to withstand even the harshest conditions. The system is certified to be operated at depths of up to 20 metres (66 feet). NiCAM-16B is easy to use, with simple controls and an ergonomic design that ensures comfort during extended use.
