Fused thermal imaging clip-on systems to enhance night vision devices
Based on Thermoteknix thermal clip-on fusion technology, continuously evolved since 2015, ClipIR-12B is the latest breakthrough. 40% lighter, smaller, with over 30% less side projection compared to previous models.
ClipIR-12B attaches to an existing night vision monocular/binocular device to deliver thermal imaging fusion. Fused thermal and night vision is the gold standard for low-light and no-light operations, providing tactical advantage and enhanced situational awareness with increased range compared to traditional standalone night vision.
Featuring a 12μm 640 x 480 resolution longwave detector, ClipIR-12B utilises patented Thermoteknix Shutterless XTI® technology for exceptional interruption-free image quality, with zero lag and ultra-low latency to provide a full 40° field of view (FOV) fused thermal image.
ClipIR-12B is powered by either 1x CR123A battery or 1x Lithium AA (with battery specific cap). Alternatively, an optional external battery pack can be mounted on the rear of the helmet, either with or without augmented reality capabilities.
Augmented reality (AR) capabilities can be delivered by connecting either Thermoteknix ARTIM or ARTIM-MINI intelligent battery packs for intuitive AR display and real-time data from leading battle management systems, e.g. ATAK (Advanced Tactical Awareness Kit).
