Thermal imaging in action: shopping for fashion in the dark

A new advertising campaign for a fashion shopping centre in Australia is based on a video made with a thermal imaging camera.

The ‘Feel the Night’ film made for Strand Arcade shows that when shopping for clothes, one can rely on their sense of touch and clothes textures rather than their sight.

“By taking away the sense of sight, we were able to focus on the feel and touch of garments, demonstrating the premium quality of the Strand’s Australian designers.” – said a representative of the advertising agency responsible for creating the film.
