The Ebola Virus: Thermoteknix FevIR Scan in The Media
With the Ebola virus spreading through the West African region, Cambridge-based thermal imaging experts, Thermoteknix have been approached by the media to explain to the public how individuals with elevated temperature can be detected at airports, railway stations and other points of mass transit of people.
Thermoteknix Marketing Manager, Jez Ford and Engineering Manager, Bruce Cairnduff gave a number of live and recorded interviews to television and radio stations as well as local newspapers. They explained and demonstrated how the FevIR Scan Fever Screening System, developed by Thermoteknix operates to give accurate results in detection of higher core body temperature.
