HRH The Duke of Gloucester Visits Thermoteknix Headquarters

Cambridge-based thermal imaging leader, Thermoteknix Systems Ltd was visited by His Royal Highness The Duke of Gloucester on Thursday, 2nd February 2017.

The Royal Visit by The Duke was arranged following the presentation to Thermoteknix of the company’s third Queen’s Award for Enterprise: Innovation in 2015.

During the visit, The Duke undertook a tour of Thermoteknix’ headquarters for an overview of the company’s technology and R&D activities, including the ground-breaking development of ClipIR, a miniature thermal imaging camera creating fused night vision for which the company was awarded the Royal accolade in 2015.

“Thermoteknix is at the forefront of technological breakthroughs in Thermal Imaging and Night Vision. The visit by The Duke of Gloucester was an occasion to showcase the innovative solutions for Security and Defence as well as Aerospace and Industrial sectors that we have successfully developed and sell to global markets. This visit honoured the dedicated staff who are instrumental to our success.” said Dr Richard Salisbury, Thermoteknix Managing Director.
