Service Kiln Scanners

Support statement August 2018:

Thermoteknix support department can be contacted at support@thermoteknix.com, our engineers offer remote phone, email or site visits on all versions of existing WinCem systems software and hardware.

We recommend that all kiln shell scanning systems are checked and returned for recalibration at least every 24 months. We need the scanner back at Thermoteknix for 10 working days to allow us to do this work and then carry out soak test after this work has been done. This service can either be planned during an annual shutdown or we can arrange a rental system to cover your scanner whilst it is away.

For TK40 /TK50 scanners that are not working for any reason we will carry out an inspection and issue a report of the work required to bring them back up to full working order with pricing. No further work with be carried our without your authorisation.

TK50, TK40, TK35

These scanners are our current build and are in full production. We can carry out a full service, update and calibration as required.

  • 10 Point Absolute temperature blackbody calibration and certification against traceable international standards
  • Centurion main processor electronics service and upgrade if required
  • Infrared detector service* (if replacement is required you will be advised before proceeding)
  • Electro-optics and mirrors service and cleaning.
  • Firmware check and upgrade if required.
  • Check all electrical connections, replace wiring and connectors as required
  • Power supply upgrade and replacement if required
  • Internal black body references upgrade and replacement if required
  • Motor test and service.

TK25, TK30

These scanners were phased out in 2010 If they are still working we can calibrate, and issue a new Certificate of Calibration as detailed below.

  • 10 Point Absolute temperature blackbody calibration and certification against traceable international standards
  • Electro-optics and mirrors and cleaning.
  • Window film change.

If they are no longer in working order, many of the electronic components are no longer available, so repair is not possible. Please contact our sales representative to discuss upgrade path to TK50.

TK20

These scanners were phased out of production in 2001. If they are no longer in working order, repair is not possible. Please contact our sales representative to discuss upgrade path to TK50.

Centurion PC Hardware

TK20, TK25, TK30 Communication Cards are no longer available.

TK20, TK25, TK30 Tyre slip Cards are no longer available .

WinCem Software support

Software support involves bug-fixing and updates to installed systems.

WinCem 24.8 is the current build of the market leading analysis package for Kiln Shell scanning systems which is designed for use on Win 10 Operating systems.

In line with Microsoft policy, Thermoteknix maintain compatibility with the last two main operating systems. We no longer offer software support to customers with Windows 98 or Windows XP systems. Please contact Thermoteknix support on how to upgrade to the latest compatible version of WinCem.

Previous versions of WinCem and operating systems they support, these systems are no longer supported.
